While visiting Mom and Dad earlier this year Dad and
I got to talking about his days as a Radar Tech in the U.S.A.F.
during the Korean War. Dad worked on the Radar Black Boxes
responsible for locking onto enemy aircraft. This F-94C was a
pioneer in aviation history, being one of the first aircraft to have
radar assisted missle launching capabilities. Dad and I
scoured the internet and found a guy that sold original model kits
of the F-94C. So we ordered a couple. I put one together
and so did dad. Here are some research pictures I used when
working on mine. I forgot to take a picture of my final
product. Dad will have to send me a snapshot since I gave it to him.
