Meteor Crater

This is a cool little hole in the ground between The Petrified Forrest and Flagstaff Arizona.  We took a day while camped at Holbrook and checked it out. This crater it turns out is the best preserved meteorite crater in the world, due to Arizona's weather.  It is 500 feet deep and thousands of feet across. Another thing we learned is that it is private property. This is not a State or Federal park. The private owner has done a good job though, I thought it was just as nice as any national park.
